Core Functions of Shaking Tables
Adopting gravity separation technology, the inclined deck performs asymmetric reciprocating differential motion, while transverse washing water forms a thin water film. After pulp feeds onto the deck, mineral particles of different specific gravities stratify:
High-density heavy minerals such as zircon sand settle between riffles and continuously migrate towards the concentrate end; low-density gangue like quartz and feldspar is washed to the tailings side for separation.
