Electrostatic separators are available in two types: ARC Plate Type and Roller Type. They separate conductive minerals from non-conductive ones by leveraging differences in mineral conductivity under the combined forces of electric field, centrifugal force and gravity. The machine is suitable for processing non-ferrous and ferrous ores including zircon, cassiterite, ilmenite, rutile, monazite and beach placer deposits. It removes gangue impurities such as feldspar and quartz. The feed particle size ranges from 0 to 3 mm, with a maximum operating voltage of 60KV. Limitations

It only works for dry fine ore of 0–3 mm, and performs poorly on moist feedstock. The single machine has limited throughput and is designed for concentration cleaning rather than large-volume roughing separation.
